Volvo Revises Prices For All Its Cars In India
All the models would undergo an upward revision to increase the ex-showroom prices by 3%, the increase is a result of the recently proposed taxation norms on cars across various categories in Union Budget 2016. In addition, the company has also substantially reduced the prices of few of their cars which include the S60 Momentum, the V40 Cross country and the S60 Kinetic.
Speaking on the occasion Mr.Tom von Bonsdorff, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India said that with the introduction of this year’s Budget the company is forced to relook over the price list for their vehicles and increasing the rates. He further added that efficiencies of scale have enabled Volvo to reduce cost and hence pass on the price discount to the Indian Customers.
