Ford India’s combined domestic wholesales and export sales in February grew to 17,306 vehicles up from 12,576 vehicles in the corresponding month last year. February domestic wholesales were at 5,483 vehicles against 5,959 units in the same month last year, while exports grew to 11,823 vehicles compared to 6,617 units in February 2015.

On this occasion Anurag Mehrotra, the executive director of Sales & Service at Ford in India said that the company would continue to stay committed to the transformation plan which is based on product led innovation, communicating strong cost of ownership proposition and delivering a differentiated customer experience. 

In the month of February Ford appointed JP Auto Zone as its exclusive biro for Ford Genuine Parts in line with its commitment to enhance trust, quality and overall customer experience. JP Auto Zone will serve the auto part needs of Ford customers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Ford India, also plans to expand the retail distribution network to West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab in the next phase.

Ford India was established in 1995 and since then in India it manufactures and exports automobiles and engines made at its integrated manufacturing facility in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Sanand, Gujarat.  The wide range of Ford Vehicles includes the the Ford EcoSport, Ford Figo, Ford Fiesta, Ford Figo Aspire, and Ford Endeavour.
